In short, what is going on and how long will it take to pave 125 feet of roadway in front of a business that has suffered enough already?

I understand business always suffer during construction periods and it is what it is but I feel this whole project could have been managed so much more efficiently. For example:

Open letter to Simon Construction and all associated approving authorities CDOT

One day starting after school starts and the next day starting before school starts.

To whom it MAY concern,

Thank you for your time

Waiting to pave the intersection in front of the only school in the project zone until school in session?

One week there's work on Friday the next there's not and there's been no federal holiday

Whomever is the project manager for the U.S. HWY 24 project in Simla Colorado has failed miserably. There has been Zero effort to coordinate or even inform schedules to local Schools and Business. I own a business in Simla CO and while the work crew has been more than willing to use my parking lot as a parking lot while bieng on shift they have not once come in to inform me of when they would be closing the highway in front of my business. In fact the schedule seems to change at whim. They do not start the same time everyday they do not work continuous instead they go back and forth from one side to another. The intersection near the ONLY school inside the project zone was not even started until after school was in session. This has caused confusion with the school for student attendance bus routes and for citizens. Nothing has been posted anywhere to show people living along this nightmare what is happening and when. While I appreciate the paving and eagerly await it's completion. My business has closed four days now due to the construction. And they still haven't even paved the portion in front of my business. This has cost me considerable amounts of money (considerable to me any how) I have had employees I had to pay with no current revenue stream etc. I have had customers leave or tell me they did not stop because the parking lot was full (with road crew vehicles, who again I remind you simply parked there taking up space for actual customers). If anyone could please inform me of At least an estimated time line I would very much appreciate it. Everyone I have been able to speak with here either has no idea or is unavable to tell me or they "don't know where he is".

Taking over a week now to pave the sections in front of not just my business but other local business as well

No communication or availability of proposed scheduling with local Schools

No information period
