Professional and careful
They charge way to much, and arnt really good at checking exhuast leaks
However, the thing that really makes them stick out in my mind is that I had some suspension work done on my Subaru by them. They quoted me for replacing many of the components of the front suspension. But, when they started the job, they called and said they found the specific part and that the job would cost 1/3 of the original quote. For honesty like that, these people are my go-to shop in Scottsbluff.
My daughter took her Volkswagen Van to get her brakes checked. They told her the "brakes are shot" and gave her an estimate of over $600! They said it was more because it's foreign. It's a rebadged Chrysler. It has less than 70k miles and they wanted to do a complete system flush ($100). I told my daughter to get pictures of the old parts and send them to me. 3 of the 4 rear pads were turned so I couldn't see how much wear was on them. The one I could see looked like new. Only one set of front pads were in the picture. They were worn but not into the metal. There were no pictures of the rotors so I don't know if they replaced them, turned them or did nothing. As far as I am concerned this place is nothing but crooks. Update: I saw more pictures of the old parts. THE REAR BRAKES DID NOT NEED REPLACING! The recommendation for the system flush was because the car is "foreign". As I said before it is a rebadged Chrysler. My daughter turned down the flush but the bill was still over $500! They charged $45 for the inspection which should have been applied to the cost of the repair.
I have continually been impressed by these people. They perform good service at a reasonable price. They call and ask how things are performing periodically after major repair. They also provide estimates that they do a good job sticking to.
I have been a customer for over 8 years and have always found them to be professional and knowledgeable. I always feel welcomed and appreciated. I've never had any issues after numerous visits and would highly recommend them!
