Great team at Hertz in Scottsbluff. My flight was delayed and the Hertz office would have been closed when I arrived. They waited on my flight. That is great customer service.
They deserve a "0" rating. A lot of hidden charges, service does not exist! Manager is worse then staff behind desk! Beware !
This privately owned Hertz rental is not authorized by Hertz. It goes by the Hertz logo; however, has a business name of Thrifty Car Rental. The car was nice, but, my flight was canceled out of Scottsbluff. I had no option but to drive to Denver to catch my scheduled flight and drove the car to Denver. When I turned the car in at the Hertz return at the Denver airport, they had to call the Scottsdale office. Hertz in Denver said they don't sanction the service out of Scottsbluff. The drop charge was $500. Hertz at Denver said they can basically charge whatever they want. I should have returned the car and rented another that could be driven to Denver, but I didn't reach them in time. They are supposed to close at 8:00 P.M.; however, no one answer the phone at 7:00 P.M., so I drove the car I had already rented to Denver.
If I could give a 0 star rating I would. Call Enterprise--they honor online pricing and superior customer service.
